Milan – Camfin Alternative Assets S.r.l. (CAA), a company controlled by Camfin S.p.A., has announced an investment in TUC S.r.l. (TUC), a company that develops technologies to enable modularity in vehicles for the future of mobility, and the launch of a strategic partnership in the mobility sector.
The investment aims, on one hand, to support TUC's growth in the connected, flexible, and sustainable mobility sector and, on the other hand, reaffirms Camfin Alternative Assets' commitment to overseeing the evolution and innovation in mobility.
After its investment made in 2023, Camfin Alternative Assets is further expanding its horizon towards connected and sustainable mobility, identifying TUC as a key partner to address the challenges of the digital transformation of the automotive industry.
TUC has developed TUC.technology®, a system that allows components and devices within vehicles to be connected, configured, and customized with a simple click, paving the way for a new era of modular and definable vehicles throughout their entire lifecycle. TUC’s architecture has been patented internationally in over 140 countries, which represents more than 80% of global vehicle production.
Giovanni Tronchetti Provera, CEO of Camfin Alternative Assets S.r.l., stated: "Our investment in TUC reflects our long-term vision for the automotive sector. Technological innovation is at the core of safer, more efficient, and sustainable mobility, and TUC is an ideal partner to lead this global transformation."
Ludovico Campana, Co-Founder & CEO of TUC S.r.l., commented: "We are thrilled and honored to collaborate with such a high-profile strategic investor as Camfin. This investment not only validates our innovation journey but amplifies the reach of our industrial revolution. With TUC.technology, we are redefining the boundaries of integrated mobility, establishing ourselves as pioneers in a constantly evolving market. We are ready to accelerate our global growth and shape the future of mobility with a game-changing technology."
Since the launch of TUC 3.0 in 2023 and TUC.tiny® in 2024, TUC S.r.l. continues to evolve as a key player in the mobility of the future. At the heart of this innovation is the universal connector TUC.plug®, which integrates mechanics, electronics, and connectivity. Together with TUC.brain®, the system’s central unit, and the dedicated operating system TUC.OS®, TUC offers complete modularity, allowing any device to interface with any type of vehicle, ensuring flexibility and adaptability throughout the vehicle’s entire lifecycle.
TUC has already initiated prestigious global collaborations with top-tier OEMs, including one with Hyundai Motor Group through ZER01NE, with whom a technology collaboration agreement was signed in December 2023 to develop "human-centric" vehicles.
